There are large windows in the front of the space that look out on to a unique urban setting with old New York charm. The space has large white walls and a wood floor, the perfect blank canvas to create any unique function. This space can work well for both smaller formal functions but also for Galleries, Product Launches, Corporate Meetings and Networking events. If rented alone the space can sit up to 100 people for a seated dinner with dancing or 150 people for a standing function. This is a link to some pictures of the space located at 160 Water Street, we have done some work to it since. We will hold a refundable security deposit of $500 on top of the rental fee. The rental fee will range from $1500-$2000 based on the event, day of the week and size. Located steps away from The Dumbo Loft, it can be rented out alone or as an additional space to The Dumbo Loft for larger events that require extra room for a cocktail hour and ceremony. The Dumbo Spot is a new ground level 2500sq ft loft in DUMBO Brooklyn. An outside caterer will be providing the staff, food, linen, glassware, flatware and will have the ability to use our kitchen prep area for set up and storage. You can rent your own tables and chairs but keep in mind we would need everything in and out on the same day. We do offer chair and table rentals ( $2 a folding chair / $3 white folding chair and $10 a 60 inch round table) and we can have them in the space for There is an in house sound system your DJ or Ipod can hook up to included in the rental. We can offer a garbage removal assistance service for roughly $15 a bag. The space must be cleaned and emptied of all garbage, this can be done by the caterer or the client. You or your caterer would have to provide us with an event insurance policy for the day, we can provide this to you for $250 or it can come from your caterer. The space can hold 144 people for a seated dinner or 250 people for a standing reception.

The remaining balance plus $1000 security deposit is then due 45 days prior to the event. Events on Sundays receive a 20% discount and weekdays Mon-Thurs 40% discount.

We immediately hit it off, and when they reached out a few years later to photograph their wedding at DUMBO Loft on 155 Water Street in Brooklyn…it felt like everything had just come full circle. Shani and Emily were one of the first couples I ever photographed when I began my wedding photography career, after answering a model call they saw on social media.
